Privacy policy

The short version

We collect nothing. Duelword has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no servers of ours. Your duels and your head-to-head record stay on your iPhone.

What the app stores, and where

Your duels and record — every puzzle you play and your running head-to-head tally — are stored on your iPhone and nowhere else. There is no cloud, no sync and no account. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone.
The invite link carries only a puzzle seed and the chosen language so your rival’s device can open the same daily puzzle. It contains nothing about you, and no server of ours sees it — it’s just a link you send in your own chat.
The result card you share is plain emoji text you choose to send; we are not involved in sending it.
Purchases are processed by Apple. We receive no name, address or payment details.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no embedded third-party content. The web server keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, time, page) for operation and security, retained briefly and used for nothing else (our legitimate interest in running and protecting the site).

Your rights (GDPR)

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct, port or delete — your record lives on your own device, in your hands. You still have the full set of rights under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability). If you believe we do hold something, or have any privacy question, contact us and we’ll respond promptly.
